Poem---I'm Sorry

How many people in this world want to hear I'm sorry,
but never hear it.
They long to hear apologies for things that have been done to them,
or for things that they feel were wrong.
But they don't.
When you do hear apologies,
it seems like they are not the ones that you want to hear.
First, there is the apology, I'm sorry I never meant to hurt you.
Then there is the apology and promise,
I'm sorry, and I promise that it will never happen again.
Personally I am sick of hearing I'm sorry.
I have been hearing I'm sorries from certain people so often,
I am tired of it.
It doesnt mean anything to me when i hear it.
It is just words.
Because even though it is said, it isnt meant.
The same things keep happening over and over.
Some people are good at saying something,
but not meaning it.
It is just words, and it is not followed through.
I don't want to hear the words anymore,
I just want to see it happen.
What is making me very unhappy,
is that I am not seeing it happen.
And not seeing it happen,
is going to cause me to make some very important decisions.
